Professor Sun Xiaowei, Professor of South University of science and technology, executive director of Institute of technology, Dean of Department of electronic and electrical engineering, member of national thousand talents program, member of Royal Society of Physics (IOP), member of international society of information display (SID), member of international society of optical engineers (SPIE), member of APAM academic, and part-time professor of Hong Kong University of science and technology. Dr. Sun Haiding is currently a professor at the University of science and technology of China (IEEE member). He graduated from Boston University and studied under Professor Theodore D. Moustakas, founder of MBE growth nitride semiconductor. He is engaged in the research of wide band gap semiconductor materials and devices, covering the material growth of oxides and nitrides (including planar structures and nanostructures such as nanowires, multiple quantum wells, etc.). Development of UV and visible optoelectronic devices, lasers, detectors, silicon optical integrated circuits. The first author has published 16 SCI papers (4 papers, 1 paper, SCI under review), 5 U.S. patents, and nearly 30 oral international conference reports.
